World Footballer of the Year

Viva Italia! Fabio Cannavaro , who skippered Italy to victory at the World Cup, was named World Soccer 's World Player of the Year. My boy Ronaldinho wasn't in the top 3. Barca had a great year but he sucked on the world stage... Besides, Cannavaro was born on Sept 13, my birthday is Sept 14.
