Why does conservative talk radio seem to be hours of one guy spewing his beliefs and an army of listened calling up to tell the host how great he is?

During lunch I tuned into a bit of Rush and two callers called in to saw my day sucks when I am not listening to you. You are everything to me and stuff like that.

Their was nothing thought provoking, there were no other angles shown or discussed.

Other than the fact that I usually hate what they say, let alone, how they say it. I just can't imagine listening to hours of that hero worship crap.
