Music Suggestion
OK, it's Black Music Month and I decide to suggest an artist that might get looked over.
The Benny Goodman Sextet... Now, I know you are asking why. Benny ain't Black. I know that but his small combo included two of the baddest Black musicians.
Lionel Hampton & Charlie Christian were both in the group and they pushed the group on some hot jazz!
I'm currently listening to Charlie Christian: The Genius of the Electric Guitar and I also have a Benny Goodman 2 CD set of this era and like I said, it's hot!
