Wilson

One of my coworkers was a studio engineer for 20+ years. This morning I asked him if he'd ever worked with Wilson Pickett and he said yes, he had. Earnie proceeded to tell me a story about Wilson taking a joke the wrong way and not backing down from the much larger guy who told the joke. He said Wilson was a great guy but you had to be careful cause you never could tell when he'd take the joke the wrong way. This particular time he got nose to nose with a "rotund" black-belt bass player. The next day it was like nothing had ever happened.

I imagine Earnie has many more stories like that.
