Johnnie Johnson is gone. :-(

Chuck Berry's creative partner, melodic and rhythmic foil, and the man for whom "Johnny B. Goode" was named -- has died.

I was fortunate enough to see him a couple of times when he did some dates on the Furthur Fest. He was one who never got all the credit he was due.
